General Description:
High shear granulation has been one of the most commonly used method to produce granules since the early 1998.
A high shear granulator also called as RAPID MIXER GRANULATOR comprises of a three-bladed impeller and an auxiliary chopper. The impeller is employed to mix the dry powder & spread the binder or granulating fluid. The function of the chopper is to break down the wet mass to produce granules. A high shear wet granulation process advantages are mentioned below:
