Processing requirement of elastomeric closure is quite stringent as it has significant impact on the quality of final product. Therefore correct selection & usage of machine which eliminates deviation in validation compliances becomes more demanding
Shree Bhagwati has substantial experience in manufacturing Closure Processor which processes closure & sterilize as well. Closure Processor is equipped with following process :
- Loading of closures in the cassettes of the Rotating Carriage from Non sterile area
- Washing with Detergent using de-ionized water
- Rinsing with DI water which eliminates undesirable additives introduced during manufacturing & other surface particles. This rinsing is followed by final rinsing of DM water.
- Siliconization using silicon emulsion or oil. This prevents release of plasticizer or other material added during manufacturing of closures. This also prevents reaction between media & closure.
- Sterilization follows siliconization using pure steam with pre-vacuum in the chamber for better penetration of steam
Drying process using vacuum follows Sterilization. - Unloading of closure is done in Sterile area under Fixed / Mobile Laminar Flow.

UNIQUE CIP SYSTEM:
The CLOSURE PROCESSOR is fitted with a Clean In Place [CIP] system for washing the chamber and the rotating carriage to prevent the dirt released during one phase from being carried over into the subsequent phases. This is particularly important before the start of the “Rinse with purified water” and “Sterilization” phases.
